Our Approach
At Bx-Nalysis Inc., we provide individualized, evidence-based behavior support services for children and adults living in California residential programs. Our approach is grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA), person-centered planning, and trauma-informed care, with a strong focus on safety, dignity, and long-term stability.
We specialize in supporting individuals with complex behavioral needs in Enhanced Behavioral Supports Homes (EBSH), Community Crisis Homes (CCH), Service Level 4 Community Care Facilities, and other DDS-regulated specialized residential settings.
-
Individualized, Person-Centered Behavior Support
Every individual we serve receives a customized behavior support approach based on their unique history, strengths, preferences, and support needs. Our process begins with a comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and results in an Individual Behavior Support Plan (IBSP) that emphasizes:
Positive behavior support strategies
Skill development and replacement behaviors
Environmental and systemic supports
Reduction of restrictive or punitive interventions
Respect for individual rights, choice, and autonomy
Plans are designed to be practical, clearly written, and implementable by residential staff across all shifts.
-
Timely and Responsive Planning
Behavior support in high-acuity residential settings must be responsive and proactive. Our internal practice standards emphasize:
Early behavioral assessment upon admission or referral
Prompt development of interim strategies when immediate risk is present
Timely completion and implementation of comprehensive IBSPs
Ongoing review and revision based on data, incidents, and team feedback
Timelines may vary by program type and individual needs, but our goal is always to ensure continuity of care, safety, and stabilization from the outset.
-
Data-Driven and Outcome-Focused
Our approach is grounded in continuous data collection and analysis. We monitor behavioral trends, skill acquisition, and environmental factors to:
Measure progress objectively
Identify patterns and triggers
Adjust interventions proactively
Support long-term placement stability
This data-driven process allows teams to move beyond crisis response and toward meaningful behavior change and improved quality of life.
-
Commitment to Ethical and Respectful Care
Bx-Nalysis is committed to ethical practice and the principles of the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Final Rule, including:
Individual rights and dignity
Least restrictive interventions
Community integration
Informed consent and transparency
Our ultimate goal is to help individuals remain safely supported in community settings, reduce reliance on emergency interventions, and build pathways toward greater independence and stability.
-
Regulatory Alignment and Professional Standards
Our behavior support services are developed in alignment with California regulations governing residential programs, including requirements related to Individual Behavior Support Plans, documentation, staff training, and clinical oversight in EBSH and CCH settings.
We align our work with:
Title 17 regulations applicable to Community Crisis Homes and enhanced behavioral services
Title 22 residential licensing requirements relevant to behavior supports in Community Care Facilities and EBSH programs
DDS guidance and Regional Center expectations for high-acuity residential services
While regulations establish minimum requirements, Bx-Nalysis applies best-practice clinical standards to exceed baseline compliance whenever possible.
